It has been a few months in the making, and had to be rebuilt nearly from scratch by my brilliant and energetic computer/website-geek nephew, Daniel Tucker, of Western Mass TV, after a misguided hacker took down the site twice, earlier this Summer.

 I thought of having a "call-back" tazer built back into the system for would-be hackers, but my pastor thinks it might be a sin to retaliate. God says He will avenge. Actually, I pray for that person, who, incidentally, took down several hundred other websites, as distant as in Germany.

When the Lord changes a person's heart, it is miraculous. Perhaps someday, that person will use his talent to serve God and help the world. What a concept.

This website is about God, and for you.

 It's along the line of "God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."   (See John 3:16)

Perhaps that is a complete mystery to you right now. That's okay. I didn't follow the Lord until I was 29 years old, and prior to that, I used to ridicule Christians and God's word.  Now I am continually amazed how God speaks to me and to others through His word and by His marvelous deeds.  

 I do still poke fun at Christians, however. We, or at least professing Christians, can do some awful stuff in the name of God. Jesus had some harsh words, and actually condemnation for the Pharisees, who were the key religious leaders of His time. Those words still ring true. Take a listen to my Bannerman!!! podcast called "Smug". You'll get the idea...

 To navigate this site is hopefully straightforward and user-friendly for you. On this home page at Jbannerman.com, several categories are posted to the left. Just slide your mouse arrow over each category, and when it illuminates, left-click it once. You will be directed to that section, whether music, a podcast or a link. The new page/window will list the options for you. Everything is free! What a concept. 

Among the various media, you will find amusing, challenging and even outrageous videos to view. And all for general audiences, God providing.

 Our hope is to draw you closer to the Lord, to help you live a purposeful life and to thrive, despite a world seemingly stacked against us. Please visit the site frequently, and comment whenever you are led to. We will soon be posting your prayers on the prayer chain section. We will keep names anonymous but will pray together over the situations and geographic regions. This is a work in progress, and we look forward to seeing how the Lord moves among His peoples' prayers.
